February 2022 has been a month which was overshadowed by the events in Ukraine. We are shocked about the immense aggression taking place and are praying for our Ukrainian friends. JCI stands for peace among nations – see here JCIs official statement:

Help for Ukraine – A Special Project that touched our hearts

How It All Came Together
Thanks to the incredible support of our volunteers, donors, and partners, the initiative was a resounding success. Over several weeks, our pop-up collection point at PMLJ became a hub of activity and generosity. The community’s contributions surpassed all expectations, with donations ranging from essential clothing and food supplies to hygiene kits and comfort items for children.
The packaging day itself was the culmination of countless hours of dedication and teamwork. Volunteers sorted, organized, and carefully packed every item to ensure it would safely reach its destination. The energy in the room was contagious, filled with a sense of purpose and determination to make a difference.
BIG THANK YOU to all volunteers, donors and especially our partner PLMJ (Samantha & Tiago), who provided support in organization, storage & transportation.

Welcoming our JCI Friends from Ukraine 💙💛
We went out with our Ukrainian JCI friends, who just arrived in Lisbon: we started off at the beautiful Miradouro das Portas do Sol in Central Lisbon and ended up in a Portuguese restaurant, listening to live Fado and talking about NFTs. Welcome to Lisbon!
